Sunday
My Lupron is going well. But today Eddie must have caught a vein because blood was coming out and now there's a bruise. Still didn't really hurt. I'm thinking the Lupron is to blame for the increase in my appetite. Tomorrow we start Estrogen, which shouldn't be too bad. "D" (My IM) gave me some encouraging words :) Which I greatly appreciate. She is wonderful. I see a great journey ahead of us. I am so excited!

So far...
Let me start off by saying..Hi my name is Amanda, I am 22. I am
married and have 2 beautiful litte girls. My oldest is 4 and my
youngest is 11 months. I am on my first surrogacy journey. I thought
it would be nice to keep a diary of sorts. I kept one with both of my
pregnancies. I thought it would be neat to keep one this time as
well. Here goes:
Boy has this been fast. It was just over a week ago now that I had
a phone meeting with my IP's (D&B). We liked each other right away
and were able to get everything started. Contracts were signed,
testing was all done and now I'm on my meds. I am on day 4 of the
Lupron. I never thought taking the injections would be this easy. I
am such a baby when it comes to needles but this is a piece of cake.
I think it's because I know it's for a great reason.
My first U/S is scheduled on the 19th to check the lining. Boy am I
excited... this is going so fast. I have thought about this for so
long and to have it happen almost in an instant is so surreal. My
husband and I went to my mom's the other day to tell her the news.
She went on telling my husband how I had talked about this for years
and it makes her happy to see me actively pursuing it.
Instead of rambling on I am just going to go to bed! I will keep
you updated!
